Occupational Therapy Week is an opportunity for members of BAOT to promote occupational therapy
Occupational Therapy Week is your opportunity to share your passion for the profession, as well as engage with your local communities, peer groups and networks – both physical and online. It is also an ideal platform to campaign and influence political representatives and decision-makers to reinforce the value and contribution that occupational therapy makes to health and social care.
The theme for this year’s Occupational Therapy Week is 'Occupational Therapy - Making a Difference', which is broad enough to encompass the messages you might want to promote about occupational therapy to the public, other professional colleagues, key stakeholders such as local politicians, commissioners and senior management within the health and social care sector, schools and colleges.
Use these resources and suggestions to help you plan how you will promote occupational therapy during 1-7 November 2010.
