Consultation on removing the health reference as a requirement for entry to the Register - 22 09-10 HPC is consulting on removing the requirement to provide a health reference completed by a doctor for those applying to join the Register. The consultation proposes that the health reference should be replaced with a self-declaration to confirm that the applicant does not have a health condition that would affect the safe and effective practice of their profession. http://www.hpc-uk.org/aboutus/consultations/index.asp?id=98
