CPD, ILOD and HCPC
Continue your professional development with BAOT resources
All occupational therapists need to engage in lifelong learning, or continued professional development (CPD), in order to remain registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and to enable the profession to develop.
Online CPD tools for BAOT members
BAOT members can access CPD tools on our Interactive Learning Opportunities Database (ILOD). ILOD includes formal learning opportunities, career planning and CPD tools.
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and audit
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), formerly the Health Professions Council (HPC), is the regulatory body for occupational therapists and twelve other allied health professions. A selection of occupational therapists will be audited by the HPC in 2011 and the College provides members with advice about the HCPC registration and audit processes.
