The National Autistic Society aims to develop a greater understanding of sensory processing and how difficulties with sensory integration can impact on a person with autism.

A survey carried out by the Stroke Association has highlighted the need for more occupational therapy in stroke recovery services. Feedback indicated that people value the expert skills of occupational therapy which helps them to get the most from life and in some cases exceed expectations about their future.
