With the increasing number of HPC fitness to practice hearings of occupational therapists whose standards of report writing and record keeping is questioned, we are asking our members to ensure they are practicing to the highest standards and competencies.
This study day will look at the key elements of report writing and record keeping to answer the question of whether you are fit for practice and delivering the best quality standards for all your clients.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) launches consultation on student fitness to practise and registration
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) has launched a consultation seeking the views of stakeholders on the most effective way of assuring the fitness to practise of students, including the voluntary registration of social work students in England.
HCPC to conduct business in English and Welsh
The Health and Care Professions Council, the regulatory body for OTs and other AHPs, has approved a scheme to treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality.
A Welsh language scheme has been approved that will see the HCPC deliver a bilingual service, fitness to practise proceedings, and communication with the Welsh-speaking public.
