Council nominations & elections
Congratulations to new members of Council who will take office on 13 June 2012
One nomination was received for each of the following seats which means that these individuals are considered to be duly elected and will start their term of office at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 13 June 2012:
- Chairman of Council: Naomi Hankinson
- Council Member, International Affairs (World Federation of Occupational Therapy): Camilla Cox
- Council Member, Membership and External Affairs Board: Christine Craik
- Council Member, Research & Development Board: Dr Suzanne Martin
- Council Member, Northern Ireland Board: Carolyn Maxwell
- Council Member, Professional Practice Board: Suzanne Rastrick
- Gareth Everton was appointed by the BAOT/UNISON Panel as the new Council Member, Industrial Relations.
Three BAOT members sent a nomination form for the seat of Council Member, Higher/Further Education and therefore a ballot will need to take place. Ballot papers will be sent at the beginning of April. The deadline for voting is 3 May at noon.
