"Leaving hospital after a serious accident or illness is often a time of mixed feelings. Happiness at being back in familiar surroundings, but also a fear of not being able to cope.
How will I wash my hair? Will I manage to cook a meal? Will I ever be able to drive my car or enjoy a social life with my friends?
No one understands those feelings better than an Occupational Therapist. We work with all sorts of people from all walks of life, but they all have something in common. At some time or other, they have experienced difficulty with the kind of daily activities that most of us do without thinking."
