The Department for Work and Pensions

The DWP has recently published "Ready for work - full employment in our generation", which sets out the Government's approach to the next phase of welfare reform, designed to create a society in which as many people as possible can participate in work. This document can be found at: www.dwp.gov.uk/welfarereform/readyforwork

Vocational Rehabilitation Toolkit - a product developed by the COTSS Work Committee

For some time now, the COTSS Work committee members have recognised the need to draw together the vast amount of information and resources that form part of background to current vocational rehabilitation provision in the UK. Although this document was designed to support occupational therapists new to the vocational rehabilitation field in the UK, the updated document continues to benefit all practitioners, whether working in NHS, public, private or volunteer services. COT have recently recognised the work the committee has put into this document and have agreed to publish it for the benefit of all BAOT members, not just the COTSS Work members!
